چکیده
Abstract Reappraisal of negative memories and experiences is central for mental health well-being. Deficiency reappraisal lies at the core many psychiatric disorders a key target treatment. Here we apply transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) to enhance emotional memories. In randomised, sham-controlled, 2 × between-subject double-blinded study, applied single sessions anodal sham tDCS over right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (dlPFC) 101 healthy participants while reappraising personal memory or engaging in control task. We hypothesised that (i) decreases valence, arousal evaluations leads improved decision making, (ii) additional changes these outcomes. line with hypotheses, participants’ were rated as less arousing following reappraisal. Anodal during was associated significant short-term reductions valence compared stimulation. Our results indicate may some effects If replicated, our findings suggest potential benefits elicited by help optimise treatment approaches disorders.

W6: Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation Workshop
It is an Intensive 1-day course for introducing utilizing transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) in an applied format. This technique is a noninvasive brain stimulation that uses direct electrical currents over the head to stimulate specific parts of the brain which modulates neuronal activity. It has strong potentiality in the field of medical and neuroscientific research. Anodal stimu...
متن کاملEnhancing the mirror illusion with transcranial direct current stimulation.
Visual feedback has a strong impact on upper-extremity movement production. One compelling example of this phenomena is the mirror illusion (MI), which has been used as a treatment for post-stroke movement deficits (mirror therapy). Previous research indicates that the MI increases primary motor cortex excitability, and this change in excitability is strongly correlated with the mirror's effect...

This research aimed to compare the effectiveness of mindfulness-based socio-emotional learning program with/and without Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation on sustained attention and response inhibition in children with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. This research was a semi-experimental study with a pre-test and post-test design with a control group. The statistical population i...
متن کاملTranscranial Direct-Current Stimulation
Transcranial Direct-Current Stimulation (tDCS) is a non-invasive form of brain stimulation similar to transcranial magnetic stimulation, but instead of using magnets, it uses a lowintensity, constant current applied through scalp electrodes. Generally, anodal stimulation induces an increase of cortical excitability, whereas cathodal stimulation decreases cortical excitability, with effects that...
